Homestar modular homes are a completely new concept in home construction. Modular home construction is more exacting than that found in “site-built” homes and it incorporates the efficiencies
and quality control developed for “off-site” home construction.
The materials and construction techniques you would expect in any quality-built home are found in Homestar modular homes. You also have the added confidence of knowing that your modular home was built in a quality-controlled environment under the watchful eyes of people with more than 20 years of home-building experience. An added benefit is the fact that the brand-name materials used in the construction of your home are never exposed to rain or damaging weather during the building process.
Just as you would expect of any quality-built home, Homestar modular homes meet or exceed all local building codes. Modular homes are perfect for city or country living because they can be constructed so quickly. Remote home sites pose no problems for modular home construction as they might for a site-built home. With modular construction, crews of carpenters, electricians, plumbers and painters that move from job to job are not needed, and therefore do not delay your move-in date.
In the city, the only difference between Homestar modular homes and a site-built home is where they are
constructed—not how.
Whether you’re looking for cottage comfort or wide-open spaces for a large family, a Homestar modular home can be built for you with custom upgrades available from The Home Depot. Most of our homes feature sheet rock walls over 2"x4" or optional 2"x6" studs on 16" centers, available residential 6/12 roof systems and some models even include sunset-friendly porches. Homestar modular homes are erected on a permanent foundation just like a site-built home. The home site is prepared, a foundation is designed by an engineer for your site and elevation requirement, and the home is erected on the foundation. Homes can be built with optional wind load specifications up to 140 mph.
Quality materials and construction of a Homestar home provide great value for your dollar at purchase and for many years into the future. Homestar uses brand names you trust in the construction of your new home. From floor to ceiling, fixtures to appliances, every feature of our homes provides you comfort, security and years of easy maintenance. Homestar modular homes are built for energy efficiency; thermal pane windows, elevated levels of insulation and a 13-SEER air conditioning system start the list. Not only does this mean a more comfortable environment for you and your family, but also you will save thousands of dollars in energy bills over the years. Quality is seen in the details. When you tour a Homestar modular home, we ask you to review the details. Notice the cabinetry, trim and fixtures. You’ll discover quality workmanship and brand-names from The Home Depot that you know and trust. The same is true of the appliances available in all of our homes. You can expect many years of trouble-free service for you and your family backed by a 7-year warranty.
Homestar promises that all of the materials used in the construction of your home meet or exceed building codes. When you compare builders this is especially important to note. We place great pride—and you will place great value—in Homestar quality.

Our modular homes qualify for the same mortgage programs as traditional site-built homes. And that goes for insurance coverage too. Your Homestar home will qualify for the same coverage available on any new home. Plus, our warranty is the best available and we will respond quickly to address any possible problems that occur after move-in.
Homestar is a Licensed Builder and uses only properly licensed and insured subcontractors
including electricians, plumbers and heating and air conditioning companies to finish your home
at your home site.
